The Subtle Irreverence project was inspired by the pieces by Junya Watanabe and Noir Kei Ninomiya in the Bodies and Universes exhibition at the Franz Mayer Museum, based on aesthetics but also on their interpretation that fashion is not for everyone and that a effort to understand it.
From that point on, the creative process took a turn. In pattern making, nothing was impossible anymore, any shape could be created with a little creativity and make it look impressive, combining it with innovative materials that highlighted the extraordinary nature of the piece and in turn gave it character and strength.
